1980年以降の『経済研究』における研究動向
Major Trends in Studies Published in The Economic Review after 1980
要旨Abstract
『経済研究』が2010年１月に60周年を迎えるのを記念して，1980年以降に掲載された論文・書評の総索引にもとづいて研究動向を検討し，『経済研究』の「回顧と展望」を行った．30周年の「回顧と展望」で言われたことの一つは「政策的視点をもった本格的研究」の待望であった．その後，日本の「長期経済統計」に代表される研究所の伝統に加えて，理論と実証の相乗効果を包括した制度・政策研究が進展した．大型研究プロジェクト等の進展により内外の研究上のネットワークも大いに広がり，日本やアジアの実情に即した理論・実証分析，ミクロデータを用いた実証研究が進展した．研究の進展に伴い，各自の研究が専門化し異なる分野との溝が深まるのは自然であるが，新しい命題の発見や確立は異種交流によって促進されるだろう．今後の課題は，異なる分野，隣接分野との学際的交流の活発化であろう．
The Economic Review will celebrate its 60th anniversary in January 2010. We made a general index of the articles, surveys, and reviews published after 1980, and investigated trends in research, a ‘prospect and retrospect’ of The Economic Review. On its 30th anniversary, We expressed our earnest hope for serious studies with a policy view point. Since then, in addition to the Institute's research tradition of Japan's Long Term Economic Statistics, institutional and policy studies embracing theory and statistical data have been developed. Large research projects have propelled our joint studies; and empirical studies based on micro data have been developed. It is expected interdisciplinary exchanges across research areas will be the foundation for further development.
